Histories and historiographies, and some futurism too

Posted by Guessedworker on Wednesday, 02 February 2022 11:05.

The polity is shaped towards our race-replacement by its own deep history of ideas but also, of course, by the history of events which are inextricably linked to those ideas.  The sum of them all constitutes an enormous bulwark against change, pressing us, as people interested in change, to the inevitable conclusion that any serious assault on the citadel of Western elitism and political power must mean a revolution on no mean scale.  A simple change to national politics alone will, in the longer term, be constrained and, finally, erased by the continuing effect of these foundational forces.  Many, and quite possibly all of them, would have to be swept away, too.

I’ve made some rather slipshod efforts in the past to draw up a chart supplying some relational context to these forces.  This time, as part of the working up of a new article for PA’s site, I’ve tried to get everything in, including the elements aiming at control of the future of all humanity.  Doubtless, it’s always possible to keep expanding the range of entities, and I might have missed something important.  Anyway, if there is improvement to be made, do please say where.

The Intellectual Thuggery of Popper and Kuhn Heading Off the Threat of Genuine Social Science

Posted by James Bowery on Sunday, 16 January 2022 18:25.

Popper and Kuhn both successfully attacked the foundation of data-driven scientific discovery of causality with their psychologically and rhetorically intense popularizations of “the philosophy of science” at the precise moment in history that it became practical to rigorously discriminate mere correlation from causation, even without controlled experimentation, by looking at the data.

I only became aware of this after attempting to do first-order epidemiology of the rise of autism that had severely impacted colleagues of mine in Silicon Valley — investigation required since it was apparent that no one more qualified was bothering to do so. I didn’t expect to find a substantial ecological correlation with Jews and autism and, indeed, there was none. However, I did expect to find a correlation with non-western immigrants from India, and found one. Now, having said that, I’m not here to make the case for that particular causal hypothesis — there are others that I can set forth that I also expected and did find evidence for. What I’m here to point out is that my attempts to bring these hypotheses up were greeted with the usual “social science” rhetoric one expects: “Correlation doesn’t imply causation.” “Ecological correlations are invalid due to the ecological fallacy.” and so forth. This got me interested in precisely how it is that “social science” purports to infer causation from the data — especially since it was becoming apparent to me that the one thing Jews absolutely panic over is the presence of any human ecology in the West that remotely controls for the presence of Jews — experimental controls being the one widely accepted means of determining causality in the philosophy of science.

This interest was amplified when I, on something of a lark, decided to take my data that I’d gathered to investigate the ecology of autism, and see which of the ecological variables was the most powerful predictor of the other variables I had chosen. One variable, in particular, that I had been interested in, not for autism causation, but for social causality in general, was the ratio of Jews to Whites in a human ecology at the State level in the US. I don’t need to explain to the readers of MR my reasons for taking that ratio as significant. Well, out of hundreds of variables, guess which one came out on top?

Of course, again, I don’t need to explain to the readers of MR the kind of rhetorical attacks on this “lark” of mine: Same old, same old…

So my investigation of causal inference intensified.

Eventually, circa 2004-2005, I intuited that data compression had the answer and suggested something I called “The C-Prize” — a prize that would pay out for incremental improvements in compression of a wide-ranging corpus of data, resulting in computational models of complex dynamical systems, including everything from physics to macrosocial models. That’s when I ran across information theoretic work that distinguished between Shannon information and what is now called “Algorithmic Information”. The seminal work in Algorithmic Information occurred in the late 1950s and early 1960s — precisely when Moore’s Law was taking off in its relentlessly exponentiating power. Algorithmic Information content of a data set is the number of bits in its smallest executable archive — the smallest algorithm that outputs that data. Shannon information is basically just statistical. Think of the digits of pi. Shannon says the information content is identical with the string of digits. Algorithmic Information says the information content is the size of the program that outputs the digits of pi.

That discovery threatened to bring the social sciences to heel with a rigorous and principled information criterion for model selection far superior, and provably so, to all other model selection criteria used by the social sciences. Moreover, the models so-selected would be necessarily causal in nature and be amenable to using the power of silicon to make predictions without any kind of ideological bias.

This, I strongly believe, was the precise reason Popper and Kuhn committed their acts of violence against science at the precise moment in history they did.

The Delegate Network

Posted by James Bowery on Wednesday, 05 January 2022 23:34.

Long-time readers of Majority Rights may recall an ancient, and now lost to the bit-bucket, essay of mine called “The Electoral Corruption Killer” advocating something I called “The Open Proxy Party” to address betrayals of We The People by Congress, such as overriding the will of more than 80% of the public on immigration so as to surrender the electronic frontier to India in the cyberwar that is now over for all intents and purposes.

Well…

I've witnessed throughout my entire life a huge meat grinder spitting out as maggot food the best of my people's heritage. I'm through arguing.

The Delegate Network Icon

The delegate network is an open sourced implementation of a completely transparent, easy-to-use and understand version of what is sometimes called liquid democracy.  “Easy-to-use” means bridging the digital-divide to plain old telephone service voice interaction, rather than relying on personal computation devices such as smart phones or even personal computers.  “Completely transparent” means all transactions are immediately made public.  “Easy to understand” means all the participant needs to understand is the concept of at-will delegation of their voting power to someone they trust personally.

Imagine a phone number answered by an instance of the Delegate Network. You, as a registered voter, call that number. Say “John Doe of Centerville” and hang up. Later, the registered voter, John Doe of Centerville calls the Delegate Network and votes on bills before the US House of Representatives, but his count as TWO votes: His and yours. He’s your “delegate”. More people delegate to him. His power grows. But John Doe of Centerville is only human. You call the Delegate Network and say “audit”. The Delegate Network reports how your voting power has been used on a bill you deeply care about. Power corrupted him. You say “recall”. Instantly, he wields one less vote against people like you. You know others that trust him. You call to warn them. Even after discussions, some disagree with your opinion. Others agree. He loses more power. Since the Delegate Network is publicly auditable at all times, news of his betrayal spreads to most everyone that trusted him. All have an incentive to communicate in more depth than a Facebook post or Tweet. Power hierarchies evolve toward greater trust.

Now, imagine a candidate campaigns for a seat in the US House of Representatives with one promise:

“I will vote the way the delegate network for my Congressional district tells me to vote and refer all political negotiations to them.”

Property Money

Posted by James Bowery on Monday, 03 January 2022 05:09.

Introduction

Property Money is backed by the economy’s total wealth:

When the economy’s total wealth increases, so does its supply of property money

When wealth decreases, property money supply decreases.

Contrast this with gold-backed money:  A customer deposits gold and the bank gives him a gold certificate.  The gold certificate circulates as money.  The money supply increases.  When anyone demands gold in exchange for the certificate, the bank gives them the gold and the certificate goes out of circulation.  The money supply decreases.

We’ll refer to “demurrage” as the bank’s cost of securing its gold from thieves, etc.

Demurrage

Remember that concept.

Let’s now look at government as a “bank” that “stores” the economy’s wealth.  That store of wealth is the total value of property rights protected from thieves, etc. under law.     As exemplar, we’ll look at the most basic property:

A family dwelling.

Building a new house “stores” it under government protection.  The government issues a certificate known as a property title.   However, unlike a gold certificate, the title isn’t “liquid” enough to circulate.  This is where property money comes to the rescue.

Building a new house with a liquidation value of, say, $200,000, increases the property money supply by $200,000 minus the sunk cost, say $150,000, of building it.  Sunk cost includes, among other things, wealth consumed by the house: boards, nails, concrete, wires, etc.  So in our simple example, $50,000 of wealth has been added to the economy.  The property money supply thereby increases by $50,000.

Thus every dollar of property money in circulation is backed by a dollar of value in the economy’s wealth.

This essay describes how property money satisfies the demand for liquidity while privatizing the delivery of social goods.

The year of the digital passport or of the frustration of Power?

Posted by Guessedworker on Saturday, 01 January 2022 10:50.

So here we are at the dawn of what many nationalists, indeed all people who love freedom, suspect may prove a decisive year.  Across the white world governments are doing things that we would have thought unthinkable only a short time ago.  In Australia people are being incarcerated for the sin of preserving the sovereignty of their own bodies, as guaranteed under international law.  In Austria, Germany, France, and Italy those who refuse the gene therapy injection are losing their livelihoods and their ability to go outside of their own home.  Holland and the Republic of Ireland are moving in the same direction.  Others will follow.

At the moment America and Britain are relatively free.  The British political Establishment is hampered by about one hundred rebel Tory MPs. The Prime Minister’s popularity is gone.  There are local authority elections in May, which cannot bode well for the governing party.  There are signs that the media’s pro-vax unanimity may be cracking.  That part of the public which is double-vaxxed, meanwhile, is showing resistance to the third shot, and those who have taken it will surely show resistance to the fourth (due in Spring).  It is hard to see non-whites, only a quarter of whom have been jabbed even once, coming on-board with the agenda.  Knowledge of the mildness of Omicron and its potential for creating herd immunity is widespread.  Likewise, publicity about the incidence of serious vaccine injury is eating away at public conformism.  This war is not lost.  It is only just beginning.

Two nights ago these thoughts were much in the minds of nationalist podcasters Millennial Woes and Morgoth, when they conducted a mammoth four-hour live show to round off the 2021 Milleniyule.

Milleniyule, an intensive series of nightly, live discussion between Woes and principal internet nationalists across the last three weeks of December, has established itself as a staple of the year-end for the modern generation of MSM refuseniks.  I managed to catch some snippets from various shows, including Greg Johnson, Academic Agent, and The Iconoclast.  But I made a point of listening to the whole of Woes’ conversation with Morgoth, which I commend to you:

Of course, everything that was said was really only analysis of the new world of Power that is unfolding daily before us.  It is different to the old world - obviously, the liberal modernity we are so used to but also the coming world of the old banking elites and their Judaic project (only it’s not the coming world now).  But nationalists in Britain have only begun waking up to the tech globalist world, and its climate- and Covid-based methodologies, over the last few months.  I know from personal experience that it is still very hard to get people, especially those who are heavily invested in the Single Jewish Cause (or, for Al’s sake, the Main Cause), to understand the change which has taken place.  Clear expositions of why the debt-model is losing ground, and why the parasitic banker is being replaced not by the parasitic tech billionaire but, shockingly, by you and me ... by all of us ... as parasites entirely dependent on government and corporations for everything in our lives, including spending money ... clear expositions of that do not cut through.  Many nationalists love their hatreds too much to give them up to reality.  It does not bode well for us.

How ironic it is that we, who alone had the balls to face the racial truth, should be refusing to keep up with the libertarians of UK Column and the Marxists of the Occupy movement, who were cottoning on long ago.  Here, for example, is Iain Davis’s excellent and thought-provoking chart of the new power dispensation:

Ian Davis's chart of technocratic power

We nationalists are still reliant on the likes of Davis to understand the very thing we seek to overcome.  Let’s do the analysis and start thinking creatively.

Remembering wintermute

Posted by Guessedworker on Wednesday, 29 December 2021 11:14.

I checked the site mailbox yesterday - something I have done less frequently since it was moved by the ISP to webmail, which I find to be a problematic platform.  Anyway, I managed to access it and I’m glad I did because there were a couple of mails of real interest.  One of them was a source of sadness, and confirmed the death of a past friend of MR and a man whom many more than just myself held in high respect.

Wintermute - WM, for short - arrived at MR early in its history, at the same time as the also redoubtable ben tillman.  Indeed, they operated on occasion rather like a tag team, and woe betide anyone who incurred their disfavour.

WM’s mission was to convert the world to his version of the Single Jewish Cause.  For some reason he had ventured away from his usual stamping ground at The Phora and selected MR as a suitable case for treatment.  This was not actually what I needed at that time.  Of course there was no reason that WM should hold back.  He did not know that MR was an experiment on a highly unstable material, or that he was lighting a naked flame every time he came here.  He did not stop to examine the cast of actors in this tragi-comedy.  To him, conservatives and libertarians from Oz, paleos from the US, trad cons from the UK and Belgium and proto-nationalists from all over were all people equally in need of grasping the one thing guaranteed to blow the place sky-high.  I attempted to keep my experiment running.  He attempted to make it in his image.  I avoided confrontation.  He sought it.  That was the way of things.

Every barrier I threw up he dutifully dismantled - not always, it must be said, with the most insightful diagnosis of my ideological failings.  Here, for example, he puts my resistance down to “social conservative propriety”:

By raising the spectre of Nazism, you are trying to both inhibit discussion of the Jewish Question, and to minimize the harm done by ignoring it. Would you level the same charge at Belloc?

It is the refusal to discuss the question which results in the radicalism that you decry.

This refusal is very definitely part and parcel of the ‘social conservative’ sense of propriety, though there are also considerations that even more venal: Nixon and Graham are excellent examples.

This remains the only occasion on which anyone has informed me that social conservatism rather than, say, Weimar liberalism, could be a factor in the rise of National Socialism.  Obviously, I had expected WM to be a make-believe National Socialist, like so many German-American WNs I had encountered on the net.  But he wasn’t at all that way inclined.  Probably, he was just too well read.

Looking back at his commentary I find a WM who, although he couldn’t be clearer about the Jewish impact on our life, was never very clear about his own political antecedents and principles.  MR was a place to which one came to contest those very goods.  It was wholly predicated on the hierarchy of values which has, at its peak, the survival and continuity of European peoples, and on the inevitability that contact with that would inform and renew all who thought otherwise.  But somehow WM floated above all that.

I came close to nailing him down once or twice.  I remember proffering the opinion one time that, had it survived Hitler’s wars of aggression, National Socialism would, over time, have de-radicalised and subsided into a conservative force in its own right.  He agreed, to my surprise, and explained why.  Shortly after, still trying to pigeon-hole the man, I offered the judgement that “You are, I believe, a white nationalist.”  But nope, he confounded me again:

I don’t think of myself in those terms. I think in terms of classical liberty, which more and more seems to me to be an epiphenomena of the populations that are called “White”. That I include considerations of race in my political thinking does not make me a Nazi, a skinhead, or a “white nationalist”. Maybe I’m just a no-modifier “conservative”, who does not share the same preferred set of blinders as his fellows. Had that possibility occurred to you?

Then one day he was gone.  In honour of him I wrote a piece about courage and the unity of men, and that was that.  Or nearly that, because we then began an exchange of private mails in which more of him emerged.  What I found was a man of the spirit, brave in the face of what seemed to be a debilitating illness that he would eventually be unable to beat.  But he was spiritual in that other sense, too.  He was, or had been, a Gurdjieffian; and his natural bent was not at all that of the angry, Jewphobic WN but of a man straining for some permanency and right, and doing it with culture and principle and, always, stylish prose.

I remember saying that if he ever wants to write about his real worldview, minus the Jewish stuff, I would gladly publish it.  But he didn’t want that.  He was a dedicated fighter, a man who had taken a personal decision, a vow perhaps and much against his want and nature, about how he would proceed and why, and nothing could or would change it.  Then he stopped replying, and there was no more contact.

A few months ago Ben came on one of our threads and I asked him if WM was still in touch.  He said he thought he was still down in Texas.  But that turned out not to be true.  The email I opened yesterday was from an old friend and accomplice of WM who, only just the other day, had read the exchange with Ben, and was very kindly writing to tell me that, in fact, WM passed away over two years ago.

One of the lesser harms done to us by the Judaic struggle is that its necessary opposition consumes good men and good minds - sometimes, as in the case of WM, our best.  What he might have achieved, had he not made the decision to plough such a narrow furrow, can never be known.  It is another loss in a great history of losses that is the story of our people’s struggle to live a life fitted to us in peace and in freedom, and perhaps what WM really meant by “classical liberty”.

Those who knew him will remember him well and with gratitude, as do I.

Happy Pfizermas to all (vaxxed) men

Merry Pfizermas

... and don’t worry about injury figures.  I’m sure it will be fine.  After all, the British government is paying £22 a shot now, and ordering millions more doses for the upcoming fourth jab, seeing as how the positive effect of the third is only good for three months.  At that kind of money it must be absolutely brilliant stuff, yeah?

And if that doesn’t put you in a mood of seasonal cheer, just know that data on vaccine take-up by ethnicity has revealed today that the forthcoming Census will show us natives are down around low 70s as a percentage of the population.
